Training & Instruction
The Red Rock Hounds offers fabulous instruction by well qualified instructors. We offer lessons for any ages, and we allow you to trailer in or ride one of our fabulous schooling horses. Along with a jumping arena on our property, we have a dressage arena and cross-country fences of all sizes. We have had past students go on to International Level competitions, A rated shows, and local level shows. We off a friendly and fun learning environment from the serious competitor to the trail rider!
Our lessons are so fun sometimes they even go over an hour! We also offer schooling of your personal horse for a lesson by one of our trainers!
Lesson & Schooling Rates
1 hour group or private lesson - $50 (your horse or ours)
1 hour horse schooling - $50
Schooling at horse shows - $50
The Red Rock Hounds offers training by our well qualified trainers. The horses are ridden four to five days a week when in full training, and they are boarded on our facility. These horses are personally trained and taught at their paces, only making the horses do what makes them confident. We pride ourselves on quality show ring and fox hunting mounts, therefore our horses come along as slowly or as fast as they want. We have a barn manager that lives onsite, and we cater to the needs of our horses personally. We also offer a conditioning program for Fox Hunting mounts, where they go out three times a week around one of our five conditioning loops. These horses are worked into a perfect fitness for Hunting, that way you are never left without a mount. For rates on training and conditioning, please see the boarding page.
