The Red Rock Hounds Pony Club
The Red Rock Hounds Pony Club is a fox hunting focused club, but our members do attend shows, camps, and meets. Our pony club is a close knit group of children and parents that participate together to make this an active and exciting club. At Red Rock, we have the ability to ride through out the whole year! We mainly Fox Hunt in the winter, and our kids show in Hunter Jumper shows during summer. When our club doesn’t have mounted lessons; guest speakers join us at meetings to tell about anatomy, lameness, and even nutrition. We get speakers that are veterinarians, farrier’s, feed store owners, and many more.
Our barn puts on two Hunter Paces a year, where clubs and riders from around the region come to compete in jumping or non-jumping courses. Our club is starting something new this year, which is a Pony Club camp. We have done ‘Kids Camps’ in the past, but we are now introducing a Pony Club camp. This will be an optional week or weekend long event, where kids will do mounted and uncounted activities. We will end the camp with a formal Fox Hunt on Sunday followed by a hunt breakfast. This camp will be a perfect way to introduce your child and horses to Fox Hunting, without feeling pressured.

Pony Club News
2/10 - Our Pony Club is gearing up for the Pony Club Barn Day in California! We are doing a Fox Hunting display, and we are pround to go and show them what we have. We are also looking foward to another un-mounted and mounted meeting in the future, where we are going to get an exciting new project! We are still accepting applications for membership for this year, please get them in soon if you are intersted.
